Diane L. Nickelberg is a graduate of Cornell University and CUNY School of Law at Queens College. She has been practicing law from her Forest Hills, New York office since 1998, specializing in real estate transactions in all boroughs of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties. Diane is personally involved in all aspects of her business and is highly accessible to her clients.

Diane is a member of the Queens County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and New York County Lawyers Association. She has taught seminars to other attorneys about how to conduct a real-estate closing and has lectured about housing discrimination to co-op board members and real-estate brokers.  She is a past president of the BNI (Business Networking International) Advantages chapter; is a volunteer lawyer for CLARO (Civil Legal Advice and Resource Office) which offers free legal advice to people being sued by their creditors; and acts as an arbitrator in attorney/client fee disputes. She is also a certified, registered yoga instructor.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Diane worked in the Queens area for ten years as a real-estate agent, broker and later as co-owner of a realty office in Jamaica Estates. This experience gives her a unique perspective and better understanding of all sides of a real-estate transaction, thus affording her an edge over other real-estate attorneys in how to best represent her clients. She also spent several years in the music business as a copywriter, editor and freelance entertainment writer. She is currently working on a consumer-friendly book entitled "To Live And To Buy" about purchasing and selling property in the New York metropolitan area.
